When he is not filming How To Videos you might find Mike Green behind the wheel of his ’66 GTO drag car. He does most of the work on the car himself with the help of friends and family. These passes were filmed at the 2011 Pontiac Nationals at Summit Motorsports Park in Norwalk Ohio. The air was hot and humid when this was filmed so times were off. As of August 2011 best pass is 10.531 @ 126.03 mph.

I thought you might like a look at this very rare 77 Pontiac Lemans Can Am. Originally, Pontiac had planned to build nearly 5000 of these cars, but they ran into some problems with the mold that was used to make the ducktail spoilers. Instead of fixing the issue, they decided to call a halt to production. In the end, only 1377 Can Am’s were built. They were packing a 6.6L 400 cu in V8, a Heavy Duty TH400 trans, and the RTS Rally Suspension Package. The horsepower wasn’t amazing due to the low compression used at this point, but for the late 70′s it was about as good as you could get. They are exceedingly rare and highly collectible. I hope you find it interesting, thanks for watching! muscle car hot rod rat rod show car collector automobile race Can Am Pontiac Lemans
