How to buff a new Base/Clear paint job. I used 1500 grit sand paper to cut down the orangepeel. This was then followed by buffing with a wool pad and 3M “Rubbing Compound”. I finished with a foam pad and Meguiars swirl remover. Do not use a wax or sealer immediately after painting a car!

Darrin Stokes (DINOSR) is the owner of this fantastic ’67 GTO, easily one of the best sounding cars at Summernats burnout finals. How he managed to swing this massive old goat around the Summernats pad without banging a guard rail is a mystery.
